takes 8 cards, and with the 5 card slots beside it you carry up to 13. Closed it measures

A flap that closes on two magnets
The flap with the logo closes on two magnets. Bring it close and it settles into place on its
own and holds firm, so Tessa will not fall open in your bag or pocket and spill your cards.

Outside the mechanism, the leather body has 5 more card slots, one card each. Keep your ID,
your driver's license or the cards you rarely use there, apart from the everyday ones. That
brings Tessa to up to 13 cards.
Bills go in flat
Tessa's cash pocket is separate from the cards, and bills lie in it flat, unfolded. It may be a
small wallet when closed, but you never have to fold your cash in half.

Tessa Wallet Size and Material
Tessa is a three-panel folding wallet. Open, it measures 8.5" x 3.9" (21.5 x 10 cm); closed,
it comes down to 3" x 3.9" (7.5 x 10 cm). There is an embossed salamander logo on the flap and
tone-on-tone stitching along the edge. The light and dark ripples on the brown version are the
hide's own grain, and they fall differently on every Tessa.
Full-grain leather is the top and densest layer of the hide, left unsanded.
What that gives your wallet: instead of wearing out over the years it darkens, and small
everyday scratches largely disappear when you rub them with your thumb.

What Fits in a Tessa?
- Cards: up to 13 in total (8 in the mechanism, 5 in the leather slots)

An honest limit: Tessa's pop-up compartment takes 8 cards at most. The rest go into the

- Tessa's leather darkens and gains character over time. That is not a flaw, that is patina
- Wipe it with a dry cloth once a month, and use a leather balm a few times a year
- If it gets wet, let it dry on its own at room temperature. Radiators and hair dryers
stiffen leather
