bag. The Glasses Case is a soft full-grain leather sleeve, 7.1" x 3.1"
(18 x 8 cm), with a 1.2" (3 cm) gusset stitched into the sides and the
suede back of the hide facing inward. A wave-cut flap closes it on a single snap. Free name

Suede on the inside, and no separate lining
The inside face is the suede reverse of the leather itself, not a fabric lining
glued in. Nothing can peel away from the wall of the case, and the surface your lenses touch is
soft from the first day.
A gusset, so it holds a real pair
There is a 1.2" (3 cm) gusset stitched into the sides, which is what turns a flat
sleeve into something a folded pair of glasses actually fits into without being forced.
One snap, wave-cut flap
The flap is cut in a wave and closes with a single snap. The snap is set so that
nothing hard sits against the lenses when it is closed, which is the detail most soft cases get
wrong.
Free name embossing
Your name embossed into the leather, free. Note that this piece is embossed in
capital letters only.
Case Dimensions and Fit
The case is brown full-grain leather at around 1.4 mm, with the natural grain across the outside
and the suede side turned in. It fits frames up to roughly 5.9" (15 cm) wide when
folded, which covers most standard glasses and sunglasses.
Full-grain leather: the topmost, densest-fibered layer of the hide, its
surface never sanded or thinned. Over the years it darkens rather than wears out, and the small
scratches of daily use largely disappear when you rub them with a finger.
