Leather Dog Collar is a 1.2" (3 cm) wide full-grain leather collar with a
snap-closed pocket built for an Apple AirTag. It comes in three sizes for neck
circumferences of 12.2", 15" and 17.3" (31, 38 and 44 cm), in brown or black,
with free name embossing.

A pocket made for the AirTag
The pocket is cut for the 1.26" (32 mm) AirTag and closes with a snap, so the
tracker sits flat against the collar instead of dangling off a ring where it catches on things and
eventually goes missing. The AirTag itself is not included.
1.2 inch wide leather
The strap is 1.2" (3 cm) wide full-grain leather. Width matters on a collar: a
wide strap spreads the pull across the neck instead of concentrating it in a narrow line, which is
the argument for leather over a thin nylon strap on a dog that pulls.
Three sizes, by neck circumference
Small fits a 12.2" (31 cm) neck, medium 15" (38 cm), large
17.3" (44 cm). Measure around your dog's neck with a soft tape, leaving room for
two fingers, and order by that number rather than by breed.
Free name embossing
Your dog's name embossed into the leather, free. A name on the collar is the
low-tech backup for the moment the AirTag battery is flat.
Collar Sizes and Material
The collar is brown or black full-grain leather with the grain visible on the surface, and it
softens to the shape of the neck over the first weeks. Leather also stops smelling like a wet
synthetic after rain, which anyone who has owned a nylon collar will recognize as a real
difference.

Will It Fit Your Dog?
- Necks up to 17.3" (44 cm): yes, in one of the three sizes
- Necks of 18" (45 cm) and above: no
- An AirTag: yes, in the snap pocket, though you buy the AirTag separately
- Cats: the smallest size is snug on a cat, but this was designed for dogs
An honest limit: our largest size stops at a 17.3" (44 cm) neck. German
shepherds, rottweilers and chow chows typically measure 18" to 24" (45 to 60 cm) and this collar
will not fit them. Labradors and golden retrievers fall between 16" and 20" (40 to 50 cm), which
means some fit and some do not: measure before ordering rather than after. The
AirTag is not included, and the pocket protects it but does not make the collar
waterproof.

How do I choose the size?
Measure around your dog's neck with a soft tape, leaving room for two fingers under the tape, and match the number: 12.2" (31 cm) small, 15" (38 cm) medium, 17.3" (44 cm) large. Order by the measurement rather than by the breed; two dogs of the same breed differ.
Will it fit a large breed?
Up to a 17.3" (44 cm) neck, yes. German shepherds, rottweilers and chow chows are usually 18" to 24" and this collar will not fit them. Labradors and golden retrievers sit right on the line at 16" to 20", so those need measuring first.
Why leather instead of nylon?
Width and wear. A 1.2" leather strap spreads pressure across the neck rather than cutting a line into it, and leather softens to the dog rather than staying stiff. It also does not hold the smell that a wet synthetic collar keeps for weeks.
Can I have my dog's name on it?
Yes, and it is free. The name is embossed into the leather rather than printed on top, so it does not rub off. It is also the backup for the day the AirTag battery dies. Note that a personalized piece cannot be returned for a change of mind.
