A snapped pocket for coins
Colin's coin pocket closes with an antique brass snap under a hexagonal-cut flap, and it is lined in suede. Coins stay in there rather than spreading through the wallet, and when you open the flap they are laid out in front of you instead of buried at the bottom of a pouch.

Four card pockets and a wide cash section
Colin has 4 card pockets and 1 wide cash section. Everyday cards sit in one place and notes in another, which is the whole argument for a wallet over a card holder.

An outer snap keeps it shut
There is a second snap on the outside of the wallet. Full, Colin does not spring open, and it does not sit gaping inside a bag. That is the failure mode of most bifolds once they fill up.

Your name on it, if you want
Name embossing is free. You give the name when you place the order. If it is a gift, the wallet comes out of the box with their name already pressed into the leather.

Colin Wallet Dimensions and Material

Colin comes in a single dark brown and folds vertically. There is contrast tan stitching along the edge, a hexagonal cut on the coin flap and antique brass snaps. Because the surface is never sanded down, every Colin carries the grain of the hide it came from.

Full-grain leather: the topmost, densest-fibered layer of the hide, its surface never sanded or thinned. Over the years it darkens rather than wears out, and the small scratches of daily use largely disappear when you rub them with a finger.

An honest limit: Colin is a fully equipped wallet. Because cards, cash and coins all live in it, a loaded Colin sits fuller than a slim card holder and it is not a minimal piece. If you only carry cards and want something thin, Colt is the flat card holder. If you want a coin pocket in a much smaller format, Zeno has a zipped one.

How to Pair the Colin

• Every day: Colin travels in a jacket pocket or the inner pocket of a bag, where its depth is not a problem.

Colin Wallet Care

• The leather darkens and gains character over time. That is not a flaw, it is patina
• Wipe it with a dry cloth once a month and apply leather balm a few times a year
• Empty the coin pocket regularly. Weight in one corner is what pulls a wallet out of shape
• If it gets wet, let it dry on its own at room temperature. Radiators and hair dryers stiffen leather
