The candle is poured into a glazed olive ceramic vessel with a
night-scene label wrapped around it: a white cottage under a dark blue sky. When the wax is gone

How to Burn It
- On the first burn, leave it lit until the melted wax reaches the edge, roughly 2 to 3 hours.
A soy candle remembers its first pool, and a short first burn is what causes tunneling
- Trim the wooden wicks to about 1/8" (3 mm) before every burn. Snap off the burnt carbon with
a fingernail once it is cool
- Keep it out of a draft. A moving flame burns faster and unevenly
- Do not burn for more than about 4 hours at a stretch, and never leave a lit candle
unattended
