- Slide the leather sleeve off the lighter first. Fuel stains leather permanently

lighter with fuel on the outside produces a flame considerably larger than you expected. Stop the
moment the cotton looks wet. This fluid is only for wick petrol lighters, never
for gas ones. And it is fuel, not a repair kit: the flint and wick in our
Leather Wrapped Lighter are not replaceable
parts.
