A compartment that takes two passports
Afife has a dedicated passport compartment, cut to the full height of the book
and sized for 2 passports. A US passport measures 5" x 3.5" (12.5 x 8.8 cm), so
two sit in there without forcing. Travelling with a partner or a child, you carry both together,
and the boarding pass goes into the same compartment so everything comes out in one movement.
A magnetic closure
Afife closes magnetically. There is no snap to press down and no edge to pick at
with a fingernail. It opens in one motion and seats itself when you let go, which matters when you
are holding a bag in the other hand.
Two card slots, up to six cards
There are 2 card compartments holding up to 6 cards, and a
separate cash section alongside them, so bills never end up shuffled in among the
cards.
Your name on it, if you want
Name embossing is free. You give the name when you place the order. For someone
about to travel it makes an obvious gift, and the wallet comes out of the box with their name
already pressed into the leather.
Afife Passport Wallet Dimensions and Material
Afife comes in a single dark brown, and the color runs deeper than it first looks. There is an
embossed salamander on the cover and contrast tan stitching along the edge. Because the surface is
never sanded down, every Afife carries the grain of the hide it came from: it darkens, it marks,
and it improves.
Full-grain leather: the topmost, densest-fibered layer of the hide, its surface
never sanded or thinned. Over the years it darkens rather than wears out, and the small scratches
of daily use largely disappear when you rub them with a finger.

An honest limit: Afife is a passport wallet and it does not take a phone. At
5.9" x 3.9" (15 x 10 cm) it was never designed to, and that size does not go into a front pocket
either, so it is carried in hand or in a bag. The passport compartment is comfortable with
two books; a third strains it. If you want your phone in the same piece of

Afife Passport Wallet Care
- The leather darkens and gains character over time. That is not a flaw, it is patina
- Wipe it with a dry cloth once a month and apply leather balm a few times a year
- Keep it out of a checked bag; leather does better in the cabin than under pressure and
temperature swings in the hold

Yes, and it is free. You give the name when you place the order and it is pressed into the leather rather than printed on top, so it ages with the surface. Note that a personalized wallet cannot be returned for a change of mind.
