Up to 6 characters pressed into the leather, free. Six is a first
name or initials rather than a full name, which is worth knowing before you plan the wording.
Brass ring
The ring is brass and fixed to the leather. Brass is what stops a keyring going
dull and rough in a pocket, and it is the part that takes the daily abuse of keys turning against
it.

Keychain Material and Details
The medallion is brown full-grain leather with the natural grain showing through the embossed
motif. Because it lives in a pocket with keys, it darkens and marks faster than anything else we
make, and that is the entire appeal: a keychain that looks a year old after a year.
Full-grain leather: the topmost, densest-fibered layer of the hide, its
surface never sanded or thinned. Over the years it darkens rather than wears out, and the small
scratches of daily use largely disappear when you rub them with a finger.

An honest limit: the embossing area holds 6 characters, so a full name with a
surname will not fit; think a first name, a nickname or initials. The brass ring is
attached to the leather and is not removable, so keys go onto the ring itself rather than
onto a clip you can detach.
