How it works
Put the box in the cart together with the product you are buying and we place the
product inside it before it ships. Order the box on its own and you receive an empty box, which is
also a valid thing to do if you are wrapping something yourself.
Sliding lid, wax seal, jute twine
The lid slides rather than hinging, so there is no hardware to break and the box
stays flat-sided. It is finished with jute twine, a wax seal and a small leather clover
tag, which is the part that makes a person slow down before opening it.
Two sizes
Small is 5.9" x 9.8" x 3.9" (15 x 25 x 10 cm) and large is
11" x 13" x 3.9" (28 x 33 x 10 cm). Small suits a wallet, a card holder, a
keychain or a belt; large takes a small bag, a folio or several pieces together.
Free name embossing
Up to 18 characters embossed onto a leather plate on the box,
free. The name is on leather rather than burned into the wood, which is why it
reads as part of the gift rather than as a label.

built to be kept: most people use it afterwards for the small things that have nowhere else to

What Fits in the Wooden Gift Box?
- Small: a wallet, a card holder, a keychain, a belt, a watch roll
- Large: a small bag, a folio, or several small pieces together
- Briefcases, laptop bags and backpacks: do not fit
- Shirts, knitwear and jackets: do not fit
- The enamel mug: does not fit; it has its own cube box
An honest limit worth reading before you add it: both sizes are only 3.9" (10 cm)
deep. That rules out the pieces people most often assume it is for. A
briefcase or a laptop bag will not go in, and neither will
clothing like a shirt, a knit or a jacket; those ship in their own packaging. The
enamel mug does not fit either, which is why there is a separate
cube box made for it. Also note
