Full-length zip with a brass pull
The zip runs from one end of the top edge to the other, so the case opens all the way and you
see every pen at a glance. The pull is brass, finished with a tab braided from the same leather
as the case. Zipped shut, you can turn it upside down and nothing falls out.

The Zippered Leather Pencase holds 8 to 10 pens, which covers your everyday pens plus a
highlighter and an eraser. The profile widens toward the bottom and the base measures 1.8"
(4.5 cm). Set it on a desk and it will not roll onto its side; you do not need to hold it to
pull a pen out.
Full-grain leather, single-piece body
The body of the Zippered Leather Pencase is cut from full-grain calfskin and finished with a
semi-vegetable tanning process.
Free name embossing
You can have up to 12 characters embossed on the surface at no charge. Just tell us the name
you want when you order; there is no extra fee for the embossing.
Zippered Leather Pencase Dimensions and Material
The Zippered Leather Pencase comes in a single dark brown. The zip tape and the stitching
sit a shade lighter than the body, closer to tan, so a thin line of contrast runs along the top
edge when it is closed. The pull tab at the end of the zip is hand braided from three strips.
Full-grain leather: the top and most densely fibered layer of the hide, left
unsanded and unthinned. That is why every case carries its own grain. Instead of wearing out
over the years it darkens; small scratches largely disappear when you rub them with a finger.

An honest limit: the Zippered Leather Pencase is 6.5" (16.5 cm) long. A 6" ruler goes in, but
a 12" ruler and long technical drawing pens do not. Eight to ten pens sit comfortably; add more
