The crushed pack in a jacket pocket is a solvable problem. The Leather
Cigarette Case holds 10 cigarettes, each in its own leather loop, in a two-piece
sliding case measuring 6.9" x 4.3" (17.5 x 11 cm) closed. Nothing stacks on
anything else, so nothing gets bent. Brown or black.
Genuine Leather Cigarette Case Features
Every cigarette in its own slot
The interior is a wave-cut black leather holder with 10 individual loops. Each
cigarette sits in its own, so they do not press against each other, do not shift when you walk and
do not come out bent. A cardboard pack, once it is half empty, does the opposite of all three.
A sliding case, not a hinged box
The case is two pieces that slide apart and closed. There is no hinge to loosen
and no clasp to snap off; the fit of the slide is what holds it shut. It also means the case opens
smoothly with one hand.
Heavy leather that keeps its shape
The leather is about 1.6 mm, thicker than the 1.2 to 1.3 mm on our wallets, which
is what lets a case this size stay rigid rather than collapsing in a bag. Metal cases do the same
job but stay cold and dent; this one warms in the hand and takes on a patina.
Free name embossing
Up to 10 characters embossed into the leather, free. It is one
of the few everyday objects people actually keep for years, which is what makes a name on it worth
doing.
Cigarette Case Dimensions and Material
The outer leather is brown or black full-grain with the grain visible on the surface, and the
interior holder is black leather cut in a wave so the cigarettes sit at slightly staggered depths
and are easy to pull out. Both halves are stitched along the edge rather than glued.
Full-grain leather: the topmost, densest-fibered layer of the hide, its
surface never sanded or thinned. Over the years it darkens rather than wears out, and the small
scratches of daily use largely disappear when you rub them with a finger.

What Fits in the Cigarette Case?
- Cigarettes: 10, one per loop
- Sizes: standard, slim and hand-rolled all sit in the loops
- A full 20-pack: does not fit
- A lighter: no dedicated space
An honest limit: it holds 10, so a full 20-pack does not transfer into it in
one go. This is a case for the day rather than a replacement for the pack at home. There is also
no magnetic catch and no snap: the slide holds itself closed by friction, which is
firm when the case is new and part of why it feels precise, but it is a slide rather than a lock.
And leather absorbs tobacco smell over time, which is either the point or a reason to air it
out.
How to Pair the Cigarette Case
Cigarette Case Care
- Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use chemical cleaners on leather
- The leather darkens and gains character over time. That is not a flaw, it is patina
- Apply leather balm once a month (every two to three months for occasional use),
especially on the sliding surfaces
- Let it air out now and then. Leather holds tobacco smell
Frequently Asked Questions
How many cigarettes does it hold?
Ten, each in its own leather loop. A full 20-pack will not transfer into it in one go; it is designed as the case you carry for the day rather than as a replacement for the pack itself.
Does it fit slim and hand-rolled cigarettes?
Yes. The wave-cut leather loops hold standard, slim and hand-rolled cigarettes; a thinner cigarette simply sits with a little more room in its loop. What the loops prevent in every case is cigarettes pressing against each other.
How does it close?
The two halves slide together and the friction of the fit holds them closed. There is no magnet and no snap, which means there is nothing to wear out or break off, but it is a slide rather than a lock.
Will the cigarettes get crushed?
That is the problem it solves. Each one sits in a separate loop rather than loose in a compartment, and the leather is around 1.6 mm, thick enough for the case to hold its shape in a bag or a jacket pocket.
Can I have a name on it?
Yes, free, up to 10 characters embossed into the leather. Give the text with your order. Note that a personalized piece cannot be returned for a change of mind.
A daily object that is not disposable, which is a rarer thing than it sounds.
